Due to overwhelming success of Ride for Wind 2009 (RFW09), “Texas Wind’em” “Ride for Wind 2010” will held Saturday, May 22, 2010 in Sweetwater, TX. This will be a Texas Hold’em style motorcycle ride. Texas wind farms are located near some of the best roads and scenery in the Southwest. The ride will benefit the Women of Wind Energy, a group that provides scholarships, support and career direction to women entering the wind energy industry.  RFW09 raised nearly $2000. Our goal is to raise at least $6000.00 through corporate sponsorship and individual contributions.

 

“Texas Wind’em” “Ride for Wind 2010” will consist of a day ride to Texas wind farms and a long distance rally to wind farms in Texas.  Day riders will cover approximately 250-300 miles on scenic roads around Sweetwater, TX.
